It’s a combination of our General Purpose test kit which checks for water and general quality plus our Microbial test which checks for fuel bug growth.

Quick Start Use

The test kit has 2 separate checks, 1 part is for the microbial checks and the other is for the general quality and water checks. Each test is done independently from the other.

General quality and water check

Place your fuel sample into bottle, rest bottle for 30 minutes. Follow instructions to identify for water and general fuel quality condition.

Microbial check

Insert test into fuel sample or drip some fuel onto test media.

Wait the required times as per instructions to allow the identification of microbial growth on test media.

Positive signs of high level microbial issues may be visible at 24 hours from start of test.

Lower levels of microbial issues will take longer to identify and confirm and will usually be visible at 48 to 72 hours from start of test.

The final test results will be visible in 4 levels of zero, low, medium and extreme.

If you have no signs of growth at 72 hours you can confirm your fuel has none or extremely low levels of microbial growth.

You will require at least a minimum ambient temperature of 22 C / 72 F to complete this test. The higher the temperature you have equals faster results.
